Step 5 - Beta Testing
Beta testing is the process by which you get to take a test drive with your website to ensure that all components and functions look and run properly. Internally, prior to a beta test with you, we will run an Alpha test and this is typically when we are entering content and pictures you have previously provided. Beta testing is a key factor and final step before launch of your site and it is expected that you will find tweaks which need to occur.
Quick Reference Quide for Your New Site
While Beta Testing your site, we will also send and review with you an extensive Quick Reference Guide. Basically, this is an owner's manual for your web site. We have customized the Guide with quick tabs but it does have 140 pages for those who really enjoy reading/learning. Note: Most design firms will not go to this length, providing a step by step guide with screenshots on each page, leaving you to fend for yourself or purchase expensive retainer contracts - just ask them.
