Step 2 - Kickoff Meeting

 

   The kickoff meeting is typically a telecom or in-person meeting to further stimulate conversation on the organization's personality, mission, vision, needs and desires for the website, as well as the dislikes of the current site or online initiatives.

 

During this conversation, lead by the Creative Director, we will narrow down the questions presented in the Creative Brief and branch off into the reasons why your organization answered in the manner presented.  There is no right nor wrong during this meeting, yet in a matter of 1 to 2 hours, we will have a very good understanding of what needs to be transferred to the design and functionality of the new site.

At the end of this meeting you will be granted access to our CRM program called Basecamp, which facilitates and tracks all communications, documents, uploads, etc., between your organization and desginB studios.  It is an easy and convienent way for your organization to share and comment on our progress and allows milestone and quick reference tracking.  You will also be given a general time line for completion of the project and a list of deliverables expected from you (content, images, photos, etc.).

From this meeting, our Project Manager begins to create the Information Architecture.
